TOR-ACA Conference Designer

Background

The African Cashew Alliance (ACA) has been working on developing learning solutions for the industry.  As such, we have developed a number of eLearning and in-class training programs, which are being rolled out. The African Cashew Alliance (ACA) is therefore seeking for a Designer with the following:

Scope of Work:

  1. The designer shall edit an existing Adobe InDesign file updating it with new content that will be provided by the company in Microsoft Word document format. The new content includes: i) Text in MS Word, and ii) New images.
  2. The designer shall ensure that there are no errors in the text or typography i.e., the text in the document matches the new text provided by the company. The file will be printed by the company, so the designer should consider the printing requirements.

Deliverables:

  1. The editable Adobe InDesign file
  2. A PDF file ready for printing.

Approvals:

The deliverable will be considered complete once the African Cashew Alliance has approved the edited Adobe InDesign file, and the PDF version of the file.

Notes:

  • The designer shall use the same fonts, font sizes, and line spacing as the original file.
  • The designer shall ensure that there are no errors in the text or typography that the text matches what has been provided by the company.
  • The designer shall consider the printing requirements when editing the file.

Acceptance Criteria:

The edited Adobe InDesign file will be considered acceptable if it meets the following criteria:

  • The new content is accurate and up-to-date.
  • The layout of the file is consistent with the original file.
  • The text and typography are free of errors.
  • The file is ready for printing.
